Melbourne Main Street, a nationally accredited 501(c)3 organization committed to the revitalization of Downtown Melbourne, is proud to announce the addition of three new members to the board of directors. Each of these individuals brings a unique and diverse background and perspective to the board.
Terry O’Grady, Whitney Waite, and Jordan Williams will immediately take their seat on the board and begin to propel the organization forward with the other 12 members.
Mr. Terry O’Grady is a seasoned business owner with a master’s degree who owns several businesses, including two in Downtown Melbourne. You can find him wielding an axe at Lumber Jack’s Axe House in Downtown and at The Backyard in Palm Shores. Or you can test your wits by trying to find your way out at The Escape Room in the central district of Melbourne Main Street. He brings extensive experience in small business ownership and management. As a board member, he is looking forward to developing the Downtown commerce community and enhancing security.
Whitney Waite, owner of The 5 W’s Strategic Communications, is located in the 1900 Building in Downtown Melbourne. She brings a professional background in providing strategic communications, public relations, and advertising services and is now focusing on meeting the market demand for high-quality, affordable, outsourced, written content across all industries. Whitney loves being in the Harbor City and enjoys sailing and boating out of the Eau Gallie and Melbourne Yacht Clubs. She hopes to enhance the Downtown Melbourne community and protect its uniqueness.
Jordan Williams owns Tangled Rose, a women’s clothing and accessory boutique in Downtown Melbourne and Cocoa Village. She has a special affinity for downtowns and will be bringing her fresh perspective and vision for social media marketing, content development and event planning to the Board of Directors. Jordan is looking forward to marketing DTMB as a destination for shopping, playing, and exploring while making deeper connections with the other businesses in Downtown Melbourne.

These new board members will bring fresh perspectives and ideas that will help guide our organization towards continued success.”
These members will join the current Board of Directors members: Board Chair Bert Luer, Vice Chair Cassandra Hartford, Secretary Alexis McGuire, Treasurer Terry Locke, Immediate Past Chair Corey Runte, Legal Counsel, John Frazier, Jr., Promotions Chair David Cable, Design Co-Chairs Marti Watts and Erin Trauger, Sara Hawks-Houston, Lory Milton and Jason Williams.
Melbourne Main Street has been improving the Historic Downtown Melbourne community since 2004 with a mission to fuel economic growth by capitalizing on the community’s assets and paying particular attention to the physical, cultural, and social identity of Downtown Melbourne.
