Kim Agee

Executive Director, 2020-Present

Kim serves as Executive Director of Melbourne Main Street, working directly with the Board of Directors to build strategic approaches and partnerships to advocate for and revitalize Historic Downtown Melbourne. Agee, born and raised in Melbourne with deep family ties, is an insightful executive professional with broad skill sets, strong leadership track record, and unique business aptitude. She brings to the organization expertise in strategic planning, business development, economic and community development, outreach and connectivity planning, government relations, and relationship management. Kim is a skillful strategist and relationship manager proficient in multiple facets of economic and community development with a genuine passion for business and community development. When she’s not putting her energy, dedication and experience to work building Melbourne Main Street’s mission to strengthen Downtown Melbourne, Kim enjoys spending time with her daughter and Maltese, attending USF football games (go Bulls!) and boating on the Intercoastal.

Nikki Reed

Administrative Assistant

Nikki is an entrepreneurial businesswoman with a strong work ethic and brings a unique artistic acuity to our team! She is a Florida native, relocating to Brevard County in 2012. She has a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, and she is also the owner of an FX/Prop company . When she is not busy working, she loves spending time with her family, going to theme parks, singing, traveling and watching classic monster movies.

Marketing and Events Coordinator

Erin is the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Melbourne Main Street. She thrives well in the company of others, working on four things at one time, and immersing herself in community events. 

Since her family moved to Brevard County in 2002, Erin has served on multiple committees and board of directors including the Junior League of South Brevard, Space Coast Crew, Brevard Children’s Business Fair, Running Zone Foundation, and the City of Indian Harbour Beach’s Local Planning Agency. Erin has her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida where she studied Communication Arts and Health Education. When she is not catching up on her Bravo shows she can be found running some early morning miles on the streets of Melbourne, playing with her two Labradors, and brainstorming the next event to plan.

Layla Mathews

Intern

Layla is serving as the social media and marketing intern for Melbourne Main Street this summer. She is a second-year student at Florida State University and is currently studying International Affairs and Economics. Layla is also a part of two university affiliated magazine staffs at FSU, she is the photo director for Strike Magazine and is a photo assistant for Clutch Magazine.

Layla has lived in Brevard County almost her whole life. She was always an active part of the community through her high school Holy Trinity. She was captain of her varsity volleyball team, photo editor for her school magazine and yearbook, and a member of diversity council and honor societies. Through these opportunities she has learned leadership, communication, organization as well as social media marketing skills. When she is not busy with school, she enjoys listening to music, hanging out with her friends, and traveling across the world with her family.
