DESCRIPTION:Green Gables is the 128 year old Queen Anne historic home of the Wells family\, one of the generous benefactors who played a key role in the development of early Melbourne. At this time Green Gables needs our community members to embrace the nonprofit’s vision for this architecture and family legacy to be safeguarded. Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village\, Inc. is working with architects\, establishing a plan to rehabilitate and restore the home under the Dept. of Interior’s rules for historic properties. This will be an ambitious endeavor where we will need the community’s donations to be successful. \nEach Saturday in June you can visit Green Gables\, the 128 year old Queen Anne home that William and Nora Wells built and see for yourself why we are working toward this end. \n10 am TO 2 pm \nPlease last tour begins at 1:30 PM \nAddress: 1501 S.
