JoAnn is an Aerospace Engineering graduate from Penn State University and an X-Rocket Scientist for Lockheed Martin where she met her husband Bill Davis, an Electro-Optics Engineer, working together on several exciting space based missile defense programs in the 1980s. Back to work again for Lockheed, she spent many exciting years working on programs for the FBI, Brazil Federal Police and many international projects that kept her travel bug alive. Finally in 2002, JoAnn left the corporate world to join her husband as an Entrepreneur who had a very successful Engineering business already underway. Kim Cruickshank Kim Cruickshank moved from London, England to New York City’s East Village, then here to Brevard County in 1993 where she met her husband Bryan. Drawing on her travels and life experiences, she opened the British Grocery and Gift shop called Lord Ravenswood Hall in 1996. That year she held the first Christmas Candlelight Shopping Evening at her store, borrowing on the traditions of villages all over England. It was a success and she was invited to share her concept at a Downtown Melbourne Meeting. From there the event evolved into the successful Holiday shopping nights that we now enjoy each December. In July 2007 she opened a different shop called Mermaid, where the focus is on holistic practices, spirituality, empowerment and relaxation, in an ocean and island atmosphere. She is getting her certification in Reflexology and has always used herbs, holistic practitioners and organic food and products to heal rather than medicines and products that pollute the body and the earth.
