The 7th Annual "Holiday Open House and Candlelight Shopping" in Historic Downtown Melbourne has evolved this year into a 5-Week Holiday Celebration featuring a different theme for each night! This is 5 new reasons for shoppers and visitors to see our unique shops, boutiques, art galleries and restaurants from Thanksgiving to Christmas! Holiday Nights in Historic Downtown Melbourne” will be hosted by downtown merchants each Saturday night from 5-9 p.m. New activities will include : |

November 24th, 2007:  The Lighting of a 21-foot tall Tree of Lights! |
December 15th:  "Olde Country Christmas" |
December 1st:  A night of "Original English" Candlelight Shopping with Horse & Carriage Rides and Bagpipers! |
December 22nd: Last-Minute holiday shopping night with free gift wrapping! |
December 8th:  The Melbourne Light Parade from 6:00 to 9:00pm |

Each night will include a variety of school and church choirs, a bell choir, strolling musicians and carolers, and a strolling "Father Christmas".
